Our Grade A and Grade B classifications primarily reflect cosmetic condition, not mechanical performance.

Height adjustment, recline/tilt lock, tilt tension, armrests, and lumbar support operate smoothly and properly. Gas cylinders hold height without sinking. Five-star bases are structurally sound, and casters roll smoothly with no looseness or abnormal noise.

Grade A

Primary Export Grade

Excellent Pre-Owned Condition

All chairs are fully functional. Grade A represents our highest cosmetic classification for pre-owned seating.

Upholstery / Mesh

No tears, holes, or significant damage.
Very minor signs of normal use are acceptable.
No significant stains or burn marks.
Slight localized stretching or compression from normal use is acceptable, provided there is no sagging or loss of support.

Five-Star Base

Only very minor scuffs or light surface scratches are acceptable.
No cracks, stress whitening, chips, or missing material.

Armrests & Frame

Minor surface scuffs or fine scratches are acceptable.
No significant dents, impact damage, cracks, or missing parts.

Not Acceptable

Noticeable stains
Mold or mildew
Strong or unpleasant odors
Cigarette burns
Structural damage
Any functional defect

Grade B

Value / Commercial Grade

Good Pre-Owned Condition

All chairs remain fully functional. Grade B refers to cosmetic wear only and does not indicate any mechanical or functional deficiency.

Upholstery / Mesh

Small areas of light staining or minor discoloration are acceptable.
No holes, tears, or significant burn damage to mesh or upholstery.
Seat cushions may show moderate compression from normal use, but must not be collapsed, torn, or expose the foam.

Five-Star Base

Multiple visible scratches, scuffs, or minor edge wear are acceptable.
No cracks, broken legs, or structural damage.

Armrests & Frame

Visible scuffs, scratches, minor impact marks, or small areas of finish wear are acceptable.
All components must be complete and fully functional.

Mold or mildew
Strong or persistent odors
Heavy grease or excessive staining
Structural cracks or damage
Missing components
Any functional defect
